I thought of three possible titles:
M.I.B (Made in Britian)
I like this because my magazine is about artists up and coming or discovered in Britain, it is about british artists and grime music.
M.O.B (Music over b*tches)
Money over bitches is a term used in slang, changing the money to 'music' makes it related to music in a cool 'slang' way. This not only appeals to my target audience because it is terms they use however it is a good play on words.
Central
'Central' sounds as if the music the magazine is talking about and promoting is from a place central to everything, with a little bit of everyones culture and music taste mixed in. Not just one specific genre. I liked the idea of thinking the music was coming from one place, one mind and not all separated into different genres.
I asked my class mates their opinions:
4/8 = M.I.B
4/8 = M.O.B
I have decided to go with M.I.B as I like how the "made in Britian" really stands for what the magazine is representing, young artists making something out of nothing. Literally making a life for themselves in Britain.
